Privacy policy

This policy explains how Artemis handles personal information collected through artemisfreightforwarding.com. It applies to visitors and to people who contact us. Data processed inside the Artemis product for a customer is covered by that customer’s agreement with us, not by this page.

Who we are

Artemis is an AI operations platform for freight and logistics teams in New Zealand and Australia. You can reach us at hello@artemisfreightforwarding.com.

What we collect

• Demo and contact requests. If you use the demo form, you give us your name, work email, company, the type of business you run and a description of your workflow. The form opens an email in your own email app addressed to us. Nothing is stored by the website itself. We receive the message only when you send it.
• Standard server records. Like most websites, our hosting records technical details of each request, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested. We use these to keep the site secure and working.
• Preferences. Your light or dark theme choice is saved in your own browser. See our cookies page.

We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not currently run website analytics.

How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and arrange a demo.
• To run, secure and improve the website.
• To meet legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information.

Who we share it with

We use service providers to host the website and to handle email. They process information for us only to provide those services. We will disclose information where the law requires it.

Storage and overseas processing

Our providers may store or process information outside New Zealand and Australia. Where that happens we expect the provider to protect the information to a standard comparable to the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and the Australian Privacy Act 1988.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to respond and to manage the business relationship, and we delete them when they are no longer needed or when you ask us to. Server records are kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it. You can also ask us to delete it. Write to hello@artemisfreightforwarding.com and we will respond within the time the law allows.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

Complaints

If you are not happy with how we handled your information, contact us first. You can also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner in New Zealand or the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner in Australia.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
